Gaddafi Drag Scene - The Biggest Public Executions Ever

By Penta Wilson

Don't shoot! Dictator begs for his life after being dragged from a drain. Seconds later he was summarily executed

Colonel Gaddafi was executed by a frenzied mob of rebel fighters after pleading: 'Don't shoot, don't shoot!'

The final humiliation for the man who had so brutally ruled Libya for 42 years came when he was hauled from his hiding place in a sewer.

Shocking video clearly showed the broken 69-year-old tyrant was alive as fighters, waving their guns in the air, threw him on to the bonnet of a jeep.

Pleading: Muammar Gaddafi pleaded with his captors for his life after he was found cowering in a storm drain

Paraded: Gaddafi struggled with his captors in video footage taken by rebel fighters after he was captured

Terrified: Gaddafi pleaded for his life after he was captured by rebel fighters

Fear: Becoming increasingly desperate, Gaddafi asked a rebel fighter 'What did I ever do to you'

Chaotic: Gaddafi was pushed around by rebel fighters, one of whom filmed the incident on a mobile telephone

Wounded and apparently dazed, Gaddafi appeared deluded to the end, asking his captors: 'What did I do to you?'

Moments after he begged for his life he was shot 'like a dog in the street'.

Another video captured his bloodied body being dragged through the streets of his home city of Sirte, to be paraded later before celebrating crowds in the nearby port town of Misrata.

Confirmation of the death sparked wild scenes of celebration across Libya with tens of thousands taking to the streets.

Celebratory gunfire rang out across the capital, Tripoli. Cars honked their horns and people embraced each other.

Daphne Selfe in hottest pictures at the age of 82

By Penta Wilson

Grey haired Daphne Selfe has become Britain's oldest model to enjoy a career in modelling at the age of 80, with a 36-26-36 figure to boost. Selfe, who is a grandmother of four, had started her career on the catwalk 60 years ago, and she is still going strong, earning 1,000 pounds a day in campaigns for designer brands such as Dolce & Gabbana.

She has never had cosmetic surgery, and when she started her modelling in 1950, she weighed 10 stone and boasted the statistics 36-24-37, and now she is only a stone and a half-lighter with figures that have barely altered. The aged model is very much sought after and is currently on the books of top agency Models 1, and she also appeared in Vogue and Marie Claire and has been photographed by the likes of Mario Testino, Nick Knight, and David Bailey.

For Selfe, her modelling career blossomed in later years as she promoted the benefits of going grey. “My hair is my fortune, it made me more striking," the Telegraph quoted her as saying. “Other younger models admire me but they're not jealous as I'm not a threat. I have a niche all of my own. I don't feel a day over 60. It's fantastic. I'll continue modelling until they stop asking. I love it. It's fun and keeps me young. I was never one for wild parties and I've never had any need to get drunk," she added.

Let's see her hottest pictures for top fashion brands.

By Groshan Fabiola

Tottenham made a big move to be placed on the third position thanks to a 2-0 victory over Everton at White Hart Lane, London on Wednesday, 11th January 2012. Two goals of the match came from Aaron Lennon and Benoit Assou-Ekotto. With this victory, the Spurs went from championship outsiders to serious pretenders.

First minutes of the Wednesday’s match saw Tottenham Hotspurs facing a scare after Louis Saha had a chance to fire wide, but the Frenchman couldn’t direct his shot into the goal. Tottenham then quickly took control the game and Aaron Lennon opened the first goal at 35′ for the club. The Spurs continued creating a plenty of chances in front of Everton’s goal. As the result, Benoit Assou-Ekotto brought the second goal to the hosts at 63’. The football match of Tottenham vs Everton on Wednesday finally ended with the score 2-0.

Team line-ups:

Tottenham (4-4-2): Friedel, Walker, Kaboul, Dawson, Assou-Ekotto, Lennon, Livermore, Modric, Bale, Van der Vaart, Adebayor. Subs: Cudicini, Bassong, Kranjcar, Rose, Pienaar, Pavlyuchenko, Defoe.

Everton (4-4-2): Howard, Neville, Heitinga, Distin, Baines, Donovan, Bilyaletdinov, Cahill, Fellaini, Anichebe, Saha. Subs: Mucha, Duffy, Drenthe, Gueye, Vellios, Stracqualursi, McFadde.

Before the English Premier League game on Wednesday, the Toffees wasn’t thought to be a good team. Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur was said to have their best season in recent history. The Spur was also promised to draw level on points with Manchester United.

During their last five EPL matches at White Hart Lane stadium, the visitors have won three. Meanwhile, Tottenham won all of their last five games in the competition. In comparison between the two teams, the Spurs have gained 59 wins while the Toffees won 53 games. The visitors also won over Spurs in the league at Goodison Park last season.

Tottenham is currently stayed on the third place of the Premier League table after Manchester City and Manchester United. Winning 14 of their 20 EPL games from then on and sitting level on points with MU, the north London club won will care little as they build their title challenge.

During the match between the two sides on January 11, the Spurs unsurprisingly defeated the Toffees. The club was promised to score at least three goals over the Toffees, but the game ended and the Spurs won with the score 2-0. Anyway, they won.

Manchester City vs Liverpool 0-1 Highlights 11th January 2012

By Michael Hudgen

In the much anticipated third Carling Cup clash on 11th January 2012 at Etihad Stadium, Manchester, Liverpool won 1-0 over Manchester City on the first leg of their League Cup semifinal matchup. The host went into the game after being defeated 2-3 by Manchester United and hoped to response to the weekend loss; meanwhile, Wednesday’s visitors kept an excellent record of most tournament wins (seven), most appearances in the final (10) and biggest win (10-0 against Fulham in 1983). Furthermore, the Reds treated the Carling Cup with comparative seriousness and wished to rid the team of an almost six-year trophyless monkey on their back. Despite a plenty of opportunities created by the Manchester City from the beginning of the match, Steven Gerrard scored a penalty in the first-half to give Liverpool the advantage after the first leg.

Match Line-ups

Man City: Hart, Richards, Lescott, Savic, Clichy, Milner, Barry, De Jong (Kolarov 72), Johnson (Dzeko 66), Aguero, Balotelli (Nasri 39)

Liverpool: Reina, Kelly, Skrtel, Agger, Johnson, Downing (Jose Enrique 59), Spearing (Adam 23), Henderson, Bellamy (Carragher 79), Gerrard, Carroll

From the start of the clash, most of exchanges were established by the Reds but failed to pass over an exceptional Joe Hart. In the second half, the clash was a particularly drab affair when Liverpool formed a 6 man defence Jose Enrique and Jamie Carragher in attempt to keep City at bay. Manchester City kept their 4-2-3-1 formation and must take a few changes to their lineup due to the absence of Toure brothers who had left for the African Cup of Nations and Vincent Kompany who was serving a four match suspension. In the mean time, Liverpool took the 4-5-1 formation and surprisingly deployed Martin Kelly at right back and Glen Johnson switching to left back while regular left-back Jose Enrique was on the bench.

Roberto Mancini’s team and Kenny Dalglish’s team were pitted against each other eight days ago with City won over 3-0 victors thanks to goals from Sergio Agüero, Yaya Touré and James Milner
