Hue Jackson will not be mentioned in the new regime of the Oakland Raiders. After the Raiders had its new general manager Reggie McKenzie, coach Hue Jackson, who worked with the team just only one season and a disappointing 8-8 record, was fired. Jackson had to leave the team four days after McKenzie was hired to be the first general manager in replacing Al Davis, who died in October 2011.
The Raiders have hired six different head coaches since 2002 and on one could stay over three full seasons. It is known as the team with the most different head coaches, hiring nine ones since 1996.
The decision to fire coach Hue Jackson is the first major move since Reggie McKenzie took the role as the team’s general manager and it marks a big fail for Jackson. Let’s review the career of the fired coach through pictures as following:
