Top 7 World’s Incredibly Odd Birth Cases

By Elisa 11

On this planet, there are many cases of births having conditions as unusual as normal people such as the woman can get pregnant while already pregnant, an 8-limped baby, a baby with two faces and a 19-pound boy. Let’s have a look at the following list of top 7 world’s incredibly odd birth cases.

Julia Grovenburg: mother of non-twin babies

In July 2009, Julia Grovenburg, 33, who lived in Fort Smith Arkansas surprised doctors twice only within two weeks when she got pregnant while already pregnant. This woman was struggling with infertility for three years until Grovenburg and her 34-year-old husband seriously considered adopting a baby in order to realize their dreams of having a happy family. However, luckily, in a desperately final attempt to have children, Julia’s pregnancy test finally came back positive. As one of only 11 cases ever reported to get pregnant while already pregnant, Mrs Grovenburg's case was called 'superfetation', meaning two babies are conceived at different times, born on the same day yet they are not considered twins.

The delighted father told the local media that “My wife was not different from other pregnant women. She ate and drank normally as she should. But she's given birth to such a big, fat son” and “Today is the first day of spring in the Chinese calendar and he's a 'dragon baby'. I feel very happy”
