Before and After Pictures: A Look At How President Barack Obama Aged in Office

President Barack Obama was officially inaugurated for his second term as 44th President of the United States on Monday morning (January 21, 2013). The Commander-in-Chief was sworn into office by Chief Justice John G. Roberts in an intimate ceremony witnessed by family and friends in the White House’s Blue Room. After taking the oath of office with two bibles - one belonging to Abraham Lincoln, the other to Martin Luther King Jr, President Barack Obama addressed the crowd of supporters in an impassioned speech at the National Mall in Washington, D.C. Obama delivered his second inaugural address in front of 600,000 people, including Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson, Beyonce Knowles, John Mayer, and Eva Longoria. After that, Barack Obama participated in the traditional parade down Pennsylvania Avenue, following his wife Michelle and daughters, Sasha and Malia, who were dressed smartly in brightly-coloured winter coats. The 45th president was also joined by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former presidents Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter, Senators and other officials during the Inauguration Parade. President Barack Obama holds a wide grin in his official portrait for his second term in office (2013-2017). The portrait is taken by White House photographer, Pete Souza from the Oval Office with the American and presidential flags on either side of the president.

Obama and His Childhood in Indonesia

Barak Obama is currently the US president, and his private information always draw attention from public. After Obama's mother got divorced from a Kenyan origin, she married Soentoro, an Indonesian citizen when Obama was still six years old. He was then brought to Jakarta together with his new family. In his childhood, Obama's years in Indonesia were memorable for some of his ex-schoolmates as well as his teachers. He was known among his friends for his smartness. Therefore, his impressions in Indonesia can be seen as follows:

The Obamas Meets Queen Elizabeth II and William-Kate

Accepting an invitation from the Queen Elizabeth II, US President Barack Obama and his wife has made a three-day state visit to the UK from May 24 to 26. According to Downing Street, the trip is a sign of the strong and enduring relationship between two countries. It is the first state visit by a US leader since George W Bush came to the UK in November 2003 though Mr. Obama had been to London for the G20 summit in 2009.

During the visit, President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama meet Britain's Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, Britain's Prince Charles, and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, as well as Britain's Prince William and Britain's Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge.
