Disabled Model Kelly Knox Determined to Make Widespread Changes in Fashion Industry By Zhang Tung
Britain's top disabled model Kelly Knox has been known for years since she won the BBC competition Britain’s Missing Top Model in 2008. However, the 29-year-old model from North London has also been loved by a lot of people for her determination to make widespread changes in the fashion industry. Although Kelly Knox was born with a hand missing, this cannot prevent her from modelling for top fashion magazines as well as showing up on catwalks around the world.
A few months ago, the blonde beauty was booked for an editorial shoot for Marie Claire China's April 2013 issue, where she was dressed in a Karl Lagerfeld dress for Chanel. Kelly Knox also modelled for Debenhams and Caryn Franklin of All Walks Catwalk in the High Street giant's latest lookbook. However, the most highlight in her modelling career was her deal with P&G Beauty. The consumer giant booked her to walk in their Trends of 2013 catwalk show at the P&G Beauty VisionHouse event in Beijing.
“Modelling for P&G Beauty is my proudest modelling career moment,” Kelly Knox said. “I was so honoured to be recognised and embraced as a model by a global leading company. Surely this is a message to all brands, fashion magazines and advertisers.”

Jan Egeland

"Jan Egeland"
By: Ylvis

Gray hair
 Glasses
 Suitcase
 Humble
 Clever
 And constantly working for peace
 Uganda
 Congo
 And the Oslo treaty plan
Oh my God, what a plan
Not as famous as Gahr Stare
Not a daddy's boy like Jens
 But when handgrenades are flying
There's just one man you can trust
When there's war and all is hell
 Send in Jan Egeland!
 The United Nations superhero man
 Mad dictator with a gun
 Send in Jan Egeland
 Oh, how I wish..
 I was Jan Egeland..
 Blue eyes
 Firm hands
 Nice legs
 Clean shaved
 Body
 Drinking his protein shakes
 Spray-tan
 Skin cream
And buttocks like he was eighteen
 He's a peacekeeping machine..
And he stares into the mirror
 Flexing muscles in the night
And he says: "Boy, I think you're ready..
 ..to protect some human rights"
When there's war and all is hell
 Bring in Jan Egeland!
 The United Nations superhero man
He plays golf with Kofi Annan
And looks at maps with George Cloon
 Oh, how I wish..
 That I was Jan Egeland!
 Egeland (Egeland)
 Egeland (Egeland)
When he's sad he goes to funerals
 In unusually heavy rain
Large amounts of water in his face
But that doesn't hide his pain
He breaks down just like ha homo
And starts crying just like a girl
But I guess you can cry and still be a man
If your day job is saving the world!
When there's war and all is hell
 Send in Jan Egeland!
 He's a macho musclepumping..
 Crying god!
If there's one man you should trust
 It is the Janny-boy
 Oh, how I wish..
 That I was Jan Egeland!

Eating Dark Chocolate Before Bed Can Cause Sleep Problems

Eating Dark Chocolate Before Bed Can Cause Sleep Problems By Elisa Wasson
Dark chocolate is a favorite snack of many people. It not only stirs affection but also awakens the taste buds. Besides, dark chocolate brings a lot of health benefits.
It is high in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants that nourish your skin, repair dry skin and shield against harmful UV rays. With high amounts of iron, copper and zinc, it helps increase oxygen and blood flow to the scalp and lead to healthier and strong hair.
Additionally, dark chocolate has a measurable effect on stress levels and helps regulate your blood pressure. It also contributes to better heart function.
EzineSeeker.com
However, if you eat too much this tasty snack, you can see health problems rather than benefits. Dark chocolate can have less pleasant side effects such as weight gain and hypertension. It can also cause dangerous swings in blood sugar levels if you suffer from diabetes. Especially, eating an entire chocolate bar before bed can keep you up tossing and turning.
EzineSeeker.com
Chocolate, in general, and dark chocolate, in particular, contains caffeine, which will make you hard to sleep if you enjoy it close to bed. Along with calories, caffeine is found in varying amounts in chocolate depending on the type and brand. However, there is an easy rule of thumb to follow, that is: The darker the chocolate, the more caffeine it has. Some certain dark chocolates can pack a significant punch. They can have just as much caffeine as a soda.
For example, a 1.55-ounce Hershey's milk chocolate bar has about 12 milligrams of caffeine, which are the same amount found in three cups of decaffeinated coffee. Meanwhile, a Hershey's dark bar contains 20 milligrams of caffeine, which is the equivalent to a cup of tea.

In addition, dark chocolate is loaded with small amounts of theobromine. Although this stimulant has been proven to suppress a cough, it can increase heart rate and sleeplessness. Therefore, to sleep better, you need to avoid dark chocolate apart from coffee and strong tea before going to bed.

15 Of The Best Package Designs

15 Of The Best Package Designs By Henry Funk
Apart from helping protect a product and facilitate the use of it, an eye-catching packaging design is one of the most essential factors to sell products. Because most people often judge a product by its packaging, the packaging can cost even more than the product itself.
There are hundreds of notable examples of extraordinary package designs and here are 10 of our favourites that we want to show you.
1. Afro Man
EzineSeeker.com
Japan always has really clever marketing and this black melon bread is one typical example. This pastry, which is very popular in Taiwan, China and Latin America, parodies a black man’s afro on the package. It also has a very thin layer of cookie dough on top of it with an ooey, gooey custard-like center. However, while some people think this packaging design is just a fun koe, others think it is racist.
2. Fisherman rubber boots
EzineSeeker.com
The package itself is designed as a mini-stand and works as an eye catcher. This package design not only distinguishes the brand on the shelf among competitors in the specialized stores but also attracts the consumers’ attention.
3. Coke
EzineSeeker.com
This plastic glass is part of a Coca-Cola visual identity system. It was designed by London- and San Francisco-based packaging design firm Turner Duckworth for the Coca-Cola Summer 2009 campaign.
4. Anti-Theft Lunch Bags
EzineSeeker.com
Designers at “the.” create Anti-Theft Lunch Bags, which are zipper bags with green splotches printed on both sides. These sandwich bags make your freshly prepared lunch look more like a molded, inedible piece of food headed for the garbage bin.
5. Kleenex
EzineSeeker.com
Kleenex, the 86-year old brand whose brand name is synonymous with "tissues," produces tissue boxes that look like fruit associated with summer. The innovative "A-frame" design creates what appears to be a wedge of fruits like watermelon, orange and lime. These packages are so different that they have already won a number of design awards, including the best in show award at an international package design competition, Pentawards.
6. Thelma’s Treats
EzineSeeker.com
Thelma’s Treats is a cookie delivery business that was named after the owner’s Great-Grandma. Its box is designed to look like an old-fashioned stove and the cookies come out of the box as if they were being removed from an oven. Meanwhile, a few words of wisdom from Thelma are also printed on the back of the box, which can keep the cookies warm.
7. Hanger Tea
EzineSeeker.com
This design looks completely cute and I think no other tea packaging can be more charming than this. Created by designer Soon Mo Kang, these tea bags are shaped like T-shirts with a hanger that hangs on the tea cup. Each tea type is highlighted in a different color for ease of tracking.
8. Brushman shaving brushes
EzineSeeker.com
The Brushman shaving brushes are created by designer Khudayar Aghayarov at Tabasko Branding Bereau, Baku, Azerbaijana. This unique design will make your shaving experience more fun and less boring.
9. Milk
EzineSeeker.com
Created by design agency Visual Advice, this packaging represents the content of the product in the simplest way, both through word and image. It is the same dimension as a normal two-litre carton.
10. Festina Watches
EzineSeeker.com
The Festina Profundo watch is waterproof and to demonstrate this advantage of the product, the company has a striking and convincing packaging solution: the watch comes in a transparent bag filled with distilled water. “By being subjected to this visible test of endurance, the watch is able to immediately convince the customers of its particularly high quality," says Ralf Schroder, who handled this model’s packaging design and art direction.
11. Smirnoff Caipiroska peelable bottle
EzineSeeker.com
Smirnoff Caipiroska is the Brazilian drink that is popular worldwide. It is infused with three fruit flavors of lemon, passion fruit and berries with corresponding wrappers for each. Designed by JWT Brazil, the packaging not only tells consumers exactly what flavour it is but also imparts the idea that the packaging was made with natural materials rather than being mass produced.
12. Samurai Vodka
EzineSeeker.com
This is an amazing package design concept from Russian designer Arthur Schreiber. Its austere outline and the silhouette as if split by a stroke of a samurai sword spectacularly transmit the idea and the ethnic background of the product.
13. Spark laundry detergent box
EzineSeeker.com
This box is designed by Korean Aekyung in the shape of a washing machine. Through the door of this container, you can see how much product is left in the box, making re-purchase easier.
14. Panasonic Note earbuds
EzineSeeker.com
This design won a Gold Lion at Cannes in 2010. Simply taking the form of a musical note, the Panasonic Earphones Note is not only a clever concept, but also denotes the quality behind the product.
15. Novelty matches promoting Ford trucks

Home Health Aides (6 hours, 57 minutes)

Not only is home health aid the most sleep - deprived employers, but also among the lowest paid ones  in America. How To Stay Awake While Driving

How To Stay Awake While Driving By Rooney Shelton

Driving when you are sleepy or tired is dangerous, especially at night. In fact, some studies have shown that a drowsy driver can be as dangerous as a drunk driver. If you are driving long distances, here are 10 tips that help you stay awake and feel fresh on the road trip.

1. Plan ahead with caffeine and a nap

Ingesting highly-caffeinated substances is the obvious, most well-worn method used to keep millions of dreary drivers awake. So you should drink a cup of coffee if you are driving for long enough to get sleepy. You also should take a 15-minute nap before you go because the boost from the nap will give you an extra level of energy.

2. Bring along road-friendly snacks to munch on

If you have a snack that comes in small pieces, eat them one at a time. Crunching on ice chips is great because it keeps you engaged but not distracted from the road. Eating sunflower seeds is also another way to stay awake because the action of cracking the seed, manipulating the seed in your mouth, removing the seed and discarding the shell will keep your mind active.

3. Chew gum to keep your mouth busy

Chewing gum will stop the yawning, which stops the dozing off. In fact, a lot of drivers agree that chewing gum improves their concentration at the wheel. So just make sure you keep chewing, even if your mouth gets tired of chewing.

4. Talk to another person

If you're traveling with someone, make them talk to you, which is the easiest and cheapest way to keep awake when driving. The give and take of the conversation will help keep you focused. This also will help both stay awake anytime the car is moving .

5. Sing

Avoid talking on a cell phone as it's both dangerous and illegal in many places in the world. Instead, you should sing along with the radio or even without the radio. Singing a real song you remember or singing anything will keep your brain a little bit more active but not interfere with your driving.

6. Listen to music that you hate

While you are driving, you shouldn’t listen to music you like, especially if it's rhythmic and soothing because you will go into your happy zone easily and start to nod off. Instead, tuning to a station that you normally can't stand and putting the volume up high will help you stay awake during your road trip.

7. Drink an energy drink

This may raise your level of alertness for a reasonable amount of driving time. Suck or munch on an apple, orange, or even a lemon to keep taste buds awake.

8. Use an electronic device or app to alert you of your tiredness

There are some innovative technologies to help make sure you are able to stay awake while driving. The least expensive options are apps for your smartphone. The Anti Drowse app, which is free, and the Anti Sleep Pilot, which is $20, are two options. The Anti Sleep Pilot also comes as a device, sitting on the dashboard and costing about $200. Another device is the NoNap, which sits on your ear and sounds a buzzer if you nod off.

9. Wipe your face and neck with a wet cloth.

This action will keep you refreshing during your trip.

10. Avoid sugar

You should avoid sugar because it causes several responses in your system which result in drowsiness and brain fog some time later.
